Responsibilities:

Teach and develop an engaging Health & Social Care curriculum for Key Stage 4 and Psychology for Key Stage 5 students.
Implement a curriculum that fosters critical thinking and active learning.
Deliver effective teaching, learning, and assessments to ensure consistent student progress.
Regularly assess students’ progress through various methods, including assignments, projects, quizzes, and exams.
Provide individualized support and guidance to meet the unique needs of each student.
Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning, respect, and student well-being.
Requirements:

Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Ability to teach with depth and clarity, enabling students to make significant progress over time.
Experience in educating across a range of age and ability levels.
Ability to inspire curiosity and a passion for the subject.
A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare.
Hold an active Child Only DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for one with GSL Education.
