Job Title: Senior/Principal Mechanical Design Engineer (Building Services)
Location: Cambridge
Salary: Circa £65,000

They help their clients solve development issues such as infrastructure planning, building design, and refurbishment by providing expert advice and design support. Their work covers everything from initial surveys and analysis to modeling, detailed design, and beyond.
In Cambridge, they recently moved to a new, modern, and vibrant office with excellent views, open spaces, and a lounge. The office is just a 10-minute walk from Cambridge station.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior/Principal Mechanical Design Engineer, you will:
* Lead and contribute to the mechanical design and development of complex engineering projects.
* Provide technical expertise and guidance to the design team.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems.
* Drive projects from concept through to completion, ensuring technical delivery excellence.
* Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and performance analysis.
* Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
Qualifications:
* Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
* Proven experience in mechanical design and engineering, with a focus on delivering technically challenging projects.
* Proficient in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
