Commercial Litigation Solicitor (Manchester)

The Role: Qualified Solicitor (c.2+ PQE) opportunity to join one of the largest and respected Commercial Litigation teams in Manchester. You will handle cases involving:

* Pre- and post-publication advice

* Crisis reputation management (defamation, privacy, online reviews)

* Media scrutiny and regulatory investigations

* Urgent injunctive relief

* Defamation and malicious falsehood claims

* Confidential information protection (NDAs, licensing, breach of confidence)

* Harassment and cyber security

* Data protection compliance and breach responses

Role Requirements:

* In-depth knowledge of litigation, especially in defamation, privacy, breach of confidence, UK GDPR, and harassment

* County and High Court litigation experience

* Effective time management, billing, and cost recovery

* Understanding of Solicitors Accounts Rules

* Ability to refer to the Head of Department when necessary

* Legal updates and blog contributions

Desirable Skills:

* Defamation, privacy, GDPR, breach of confidence, and harassment experience

* Experience with injunctive relief and pre-publication advice

* Team player with business development skills

* Knowledge of Civil Procedure Rules and Media List requirements
