Salary: 82,000USD to 103,000USD annual
Responsibilities:
Create and maintain actuarial models, analyze data, and provide insights for pricing and bidding on Medicare Advantage plans.
Have a solid understanding of Medicare Advantage rules and risk adjustment methods, along with strong analytical skills.
Help develop and implement pricing strategies, ensure compliance with regulations, and offer insights to improve Medicare Advantage plans.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Finance, or a related field.
Completed 4+ exams for the Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) designation
At least 5 years of healthcare actuarial experience.
Experience writing SQL queries or using another programming language.
Additional (Preferred but not required):
Designation as an Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA)
Fellow (FSA) or Associate (ASA) status within the Society of Actuaries
More than 2 years of experience in Medicare bidding
