Job Title: Surgical Technologist
Location: Norman, OK
Shift Options: 10-hour shifts (6:30 AM - 5:00 PM) or 12-hour shifts (6:30 AM - 7:00 PM) shift details to be discussed during the interview.
Weekend Requirements: 6 call shifts per month
On Call Requirements: 1 full weekend per month
Salary Range: $17.39/hour - $28.40/hour (dependent on previous work experience)

Job Summary:
As an Surgical Technologist, you will assist surgeons during orthopedic and pain management procedures while ensuring a safe and aseptic environment in the Operating Room. You will be part of a dedicated, team-oriented environment with a strong emphasis on community, providing exceptional care to patients with a wide range of orthopedic needs. This includes working closely with orthopedic surgeons, sports medicine physicians, and physical therapists to deliver outstanding orthopedic services.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the surgeon during orthopedic and spine procedures.
Maintain a sterile environment in the Operating Room, ensuring patient safety.
Prepare and maintain surgical instruments and equipment.
Provide support to the operating team throughout the procedure.
Follow best practices in infection control and patient safety.
Ensure compliance with all hospital and departmental policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
Must have completed an accredited Surgical Technology program or have five (5) consecutive years of experience as a Surgical Tech - Required
Recent clinical experience as a CST/Surgical Tech - Required
LPN with one (1) year of surgical tech experience - Preferred
National Certification - Highly Preferred
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) - Required
Certified Surgical Technologist certification - Required (if certified)
Current Oklahoma LPN license (if applicable) - Required
