Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager required to join a leading engineering supplier based in Hertford.

Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager will work remotely covering London, Hertfordshire, and surrounding areas. They are responsible for developing existing key accounts as well as generating new business opportunities, selling compressed air products and solutions such as compressors, blowers, dryers, nitrogen generators, air filtration and other associated compressed air equipment into various industries via OEM customers and end users.

The successful Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager will ideally come from any sales, customer service or technical background with full training being provided, however having previously sold a product, engineering solution or a background working in a engineering environment is beneficial.

Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager Role

Responsible for developing existing key accounts as well as generating new business opportunities, selling compressed air products and solutions such as compressors, blowers, dryers, nitrogen generators, air filtration and other associated compressed air products
Selling technical compressed air solutions and products into various industries via OEM customers and End users
Maintaining new compressor sales with demonstration, exhibition, and negotiation to achieve targets.
Working closely with the compressed air Service Department to ensure an excellent standard of after-sales service is provided.
Liaise with various engineering departments.
Field based covering London, Hertfordshire, and surrounding areas when not Office based in Hertford.
Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager Requirements

Sales, customer service or technical background with full training being provided, however having previously sold a product, engineering solution or a background working in a engineering environment is beneficial.
Experience as a Sales Engineer, Area Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, Account Manager, Field Sales Representative, Technical Sales Engineer, External Sales or similar having sold a product.
Compressor Service Engineers looking to come off the tools and progress into a sales roles are encouraged to apply.
Experience selling, servicing, or managing accounts in engineering, ideally compressed air, pumps, valves, plant equipment, pneumatics, medical gas, hydrogen, hydraulics, rotating equipment, MRO, machinery, power tools, industrial systems or similar is advantageous.
A technical engineering qualification, Apprentice trained, HNC, HND, BCAS DIPCAM or Degree would be desirable.
Office based in Hertford daily when not travelling and for the initial training period.
