Job Summary:

We are looking for a reliable Food Production Operator.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, processing, and packaging food products in accordance with safety, hygiene, and quality standards. This is crucial in ensuring that food items are produced efficiently and safely to meet our customers' demands and expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Food Preparation: Prepare raw materials and ingredients according to production guidelines.

• Machine Operation: Operate food production equipment and machinery safely and efficiently, ensuring that production targets are met.

• Quality Control: Inspect products throughout production to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.

• Packaging: Package finished products according to specifications, ensuring correct labelling and adherence to customer requirements.

• Safety Compliance: Follow all health and safety protocols, ensuring a clean and safe working environment.

• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate production records, including batch numbers, quantities, and any issues encountered.

• Cleaning: Ensure that production areas, machinery, and equipment are cleaned and sanitised at the end of shifts or production runs.

• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure the smooth running of the production line.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous experience in a food production, factory, or warehouse environment is desirable but optional.

• Attention to Detail: Ability to follow recipes, instructions, and safety procedures accurately.

• Team Player: Comfortable working as part of a team to meet production goals.

• Time Management: Ability to work efficiently and meet production deadlines.

• Physical Stamina: Able to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.

• Hygiene & Safety Conscious: Understanding food safety regulations and hygiene practices (e.g., HACCP or similar).
