Job Description:

The RCM Project Manager will oversee and lead various projects within the Revenue Cycle Management team, ensuring the successful execution of initiatives that enhance financial performance and operational efficiency. This role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, managing timelines, and delivering results that align with company goals. The RCM Project Manager will play a key role in driving process improvements, managing system implementations, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage RCM projects from initiation through completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.

Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, coordinating with stakeholders to define objectives and deliverables.

Oversee system implementations, upgrades, and optimizations, particularly with practice management software and other RCM tools.

Collaborate with internal teams, including finance, IT, and operations, to ensure alignment and support for project goals.

Track project progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to mitigate risks.

Maintain thorough documentation of project milestones, deliverables, and post-implementation reviews.

Analyze and improve existing RCM processes to optimize collections, claims submissions, and overall financial outcomes.

Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, industry standards, and best practices in all RCM processes.

Provide regular updates and reports to leadership on project status, challenges, and successes.

Assist in the training and development of RCM staff on new systems and processes.

Build and maintain relationships with vendors, ensuring smooth communication and execution of project tasks.

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in project management, preferably within revenue cycle management or healthcare.

Strong understanding of revenue cycle processes, including billing, collections, claims management, and compliance.

PMP certification or equivalent project management experience is a plus.

Proficiency with practice management systems (Open Dental, Dentrix, etc.) and RCM software.

Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities with a detail-oriented mindset.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Proven problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to identify and resolve project challenges.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
