Unit Description:

Sodexo is seeking Multi - Express Manager2, which will oversee Patient Transport and Service Response Center at Brockton Hospital, in Brockton Massachusetts. Brockton Hospital is a 200 bed facility with up to 40 Fte client staff. This person will play a pivotal role in ensuring efficient patient transportation services and effective management of the Service Response Center. This position oversees a team responsible for timely and safe transportation of patients within the hospital and coordinates responses to service requests to maintain high standards of patient care and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Transport Management:

Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the patient transport team.

Ensure timely and safe transportation of patients between departments, procedures, and discharge areas.

Monitor and optimize transport routes and schedules to enhance efficiency.

Service Response Center Oversight:

Manage the Service Response Center, including staffing, scheduling, and training of personnel.

Coordinate responses to service requests and ensure timely resolution of patient and staff needs.

Implement and maintain protocols for handling urgent and non-urgent service calls.

Team Leadership and Development:

Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the transport and service response teams.

Conduct performance evaluations and implement professional development plans.

Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment to promote team cohesion and morale.

Quality Assurance and Compliance:

Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to patient transport and service response.

Monitor service quality and implement improvements based on feedback and performance metrics.

Conduct regular audits and assessments to maintain high standards of service delivery.

Communication and Collaboration:

Serve as a liaison between the transport/service response team and other hospital departments.

Collaborate with nursing, clinical staff, and administrative teams to streamline patient flow and enhance communication channels.

Participate in hospital committees and meetings related to patient transport and service response initiatives.
