Overview:
We are looking for someone who is detailed orientated, problem solving, and driven by data and research as a Full-Time Bilingual Collections Specialist for our Long Beach office. This position involves all aspects of billing and collections.
The role demands strong analytical skills to interpret financial data and communicate effectively with management and staff. The successful candidate will be energetic and motivated, with a strong desire tp grow.
Schedule: Monday through Friday 8AM-5PM or 9AM-6PM
This is not a remote position
Responsibilities:
Reconciling client accounts and payment discrepancies, assuming billing responsibilities when necessary, and responding to client inquiries regarding billing and collections.
participate in month-end close activities, and contribute to the collections process to help achieve revenue goals.
Review draft invoices and resolve any discrepancies in order to finalize invoice in software
Processing payments on behalf of client
Maintaining organized financial records to aide reporting and calculating bill totals by looking through previous financial statements.
Prepare invoice data spreadsheets using MS Excel with formulas for monthly billing
Data entry in e-billing for monthly billing
Collaborating with patients or customers, third party institutions and other team members to resolve billing inconsistencies and errors
Follow through with collections of outstanding amounts of invoices
Qualifications:
1+ year experience in collections
Experienced with QuickBooks
Ability to use Microsoft Outlook and Excel Computer proficiency, and to quickly learn software
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and establish priorities
Must possess the ability to communicate with people at all levels of the organization, patients, and external agencies
Must actively seek to accomplish tasks and be able to use a variety of methods and ideas to solve problems whilst, when needed, seeking advice and/or guidance from fellow employees.
Able to exercise discretion with confidential information
Able to work independently and with a team with minimal supervision
Requirement
18+ years old
US work authorization
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to pass a background check and reference check
Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
