Home-Based Counseling (Intercept)

Treatment Foster Care

LifeSet Transitional Living Services

Crisis Services

Intern placement with a specific program within each office is determined during the interview process and depends on the current availability, the student's experience and education level, and the academic requirements of the program.

At the Master's level, graduate students will have the opportunity to:

Shadow counselors

Assist with clinical assessments and documentation

Learn clinical documentation and electronic medical records systems

Carry a reduced caseload, implementing family, individual or group therapy

Participate in treatment team and consultation meetings as well as receive individual supervision.

Our approach has proven successful nationwide. Today, more than 4,500 counselors, teachers, and skilled support staff provide Youth Villages' services throughout 27 states, serving 43,000 kids annually. Requirements:

Must be pursuing a Master's degree in the Social Service field.
