Responsibilities:

Evaluates patients to determine whether their symptoms are the result of a physical illness, a combination of physical

and mental, or a strictly psychiatric one. Determine and lead treatment plan.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

• Provide psychopharmacological assessments and reviews as required.

• Complete all required documentation.

• Communicate effectively with other team members.

• Communicate with parents about medication recommendations.

• Participate in clinical rounds and other clinical meetings.

• Provide psychiatric evaluations for new patients.

• Fulfill on-call responsibilities (when applicable) to include but not limited to providing necessary orders, conducting physical assessments of youth when needed, providing consultation to nurses and/or program staff when needed.

• Maintains compliance with all required trainings, re-certifications, or licensing requirements/renewals.

Licensed physician

Completion of a board-approved child/adolescent psychiatric residency
