Have you sold into the welding and fabrication sector?

My client are premium manufacturer of high-quality industrial power tools designed specifically in the engineering sector - cutting, drills, saws, grinders. They sell via distributors and direct to end users.

Customers include; general engineering and metal working, fabrication & welding, assembly environments such as large OEMs.

They are now looking for a technically minded Area Sales Manager who is centrally based below Birmingham to support and further develop their customers.

The role

Working from home. This is a technical solutions sales role
Following up enquires and leads with end users - understanding applications and recommending appropriate solution
Covering central patch: Birmingham, Oxford, Cheltenham, S.Wales
Maintaining relationships with existing dealers / distributors and end users
Sales analysis
Work closely with Marketing to ensure the right products are promoted effectively
Identify new distributors and end users
Sell a range of high quality engineering and metalwork hand power tools including welding equipmentRequirements

You must live on patch - essential
You must have knowledge of welding & fabrication sector
Someone who has sold welding products would be ideal!
Previous field sales experience is essential, sales engineer, key account manager, dealer manager
You will have solid knowledge of power tools, welding equipment is preferred Package
