Alexander Steele are delighted to work in partnership with a highly regarded food business. They supply high quality products into major retailers. They are looking for a talented Food Technologist to join their team in London on a 12 month FTC.

On Offer:

* A salary of up to £40,000

* 12 month FTC

* Hybrid - Option to work 2 days a week from home

* Working Monday to Friday

* 26 days holiday plus bank holidays

The role:

* As Food Technologist you will support the business with the delivery of all safe and legal technical requirements.

* Ensure quality management systems are maintained and appropriate documentation completed.

* Maintain specifications to ensure compliance.

* Act as main point of contact for all technical queries.

* Address any quality issues and ensure they are resolved.

* Assess artwork and packaging to action as required.

* Manage customer complaints to strive for improvement where needed.

The candidate:

* A minimum of 3 years experience working in a similar Technical role within food manufacturing

* Hold a degree in Food Science or the equivalent experience

* Good knowledge of the food industry and UK food legislation is essential

* A motivated individual who can work well under pressure

* An individual with strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
