CNC Turner / Near Oldham / Up to £20ph DoE

Syntech Recruitment is partnered with a leading manufacturing company to find a CNC Turner. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for precision engineering, working on innovative projects that make a real impact in a fast-paced environment.

CNC Turner Responsibilities:

Program, set, and operate CNC lathes to produce high-quality parts efficiently.
Perform set-up changes, first article inspections, and ensure smooth production runs.
Troubleshoot and adjust machine settings to address any malfunctions or out-of-tolerance conditions.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and job orders to ensure precise measurements and quality standards.
Maintain knowledge of tooling instructions, feed rates, cutting speeds, and machine controls.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including quality and production, to optimise operations.

CNC Turner Profile:

Time-served apprenticeship in CNC Machining, equivalent to City & Guilds Level 3 or NVQ Level 3.
Proven experience in programming and operating CNC lathes.
Familiarity with high-productivity machine shop environments.
Strong CNC programming knowledge, with experience in Fanuc controls being desirable.
Basic computer literacy and awareness of Health & Safety regulations.

Salary & Benefits:

Competitive salary between £35,000 and £40,000, depending on experience.
