NXTGEN is thrilled to be working with a leading accountancy practice in Ipswich to recruit an Outsourcing Manager for their Business Services team. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a diverse role that goes beyond the typical practice position. You'll be working with a variety of clients, helping them improve and streamline their internal finance functions, while managing an already successful team.
If you're passionate about getting to know clients, delivering high-quality service, and mentoring junior staff members making a positive impact on their career, this could be the perfect role for you. As Outsourcing Manager, you'll play a key part in preparing management accounts, advising clients on process improvements, and supporting system implementations.
Key Responsibilities:
Client point of contact and managing the portfolio
Produce complex management accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
Prepare and present reporting packs to provide clients with valuable insights for strategic decision-making.
Prepare and review VAT returns across a range of industries, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
Lead, train, and mentor a team of junior staff, fostering a high-performance culture.
Continuously evaluate and enhance clients' finance systems and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
What We're Looking For:
ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA qualification or QBE.
Previous experience in an accountancy or bookkeeping practice, with strong knowledge of financial operations and management accounting.
Confident working with Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, and Excel.
Demonstrated ability to lead a team
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships with a diverse range of clients.
