JN Bentley are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to work for our prestigious client in the Derbyshire region, that enjoys problem solving and rolling your sleeves up as you foster positive client relationships, delivering a variation of manufacturing, building services and commercial building projects.
With a diverse workbook, and reporting to multiple stakeholders, you'll be challenged to adapt and drive schemes to manage them effectively.
You'll be Joining JN Bentley in a record year for the business, that’s continuing to make strides with our ever-growing workload across the UK with turnover rising over £400m in 2023. Key responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of commercial and cost management of a project or group of projects as designated by the Commercial Manager
Ensure robust cost management processes are undertaken at all times with accurate and timely reports, data and analysis on hand to assist in commercial decisions
Ensure that all project team members (including site staff) understand the contractual arrangements, in order to satisfy Client & Partner organisation requirements
Work in collaboration with the Delivery Team to identify, implement and monitor efficiency plans throughout the lifecycle of a project or programme of projects
Ensuring that proper records (including final accounts) are kept & maintained so financial information for audits and cost assurance is readily available
