Job Title: Behavior Support Assistant

Location: Tower Hamlets

Salary: £85-£100 per day

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Type: Long Term

Working Hours: (Monday to Friday)

Behavior Support Assistant Responsibilities:

· Support students with behavioral challenges in and out of the classroom.

· Develop and implement tailored educational activities and support strategies.

· Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff members to ensure a cohesive approach to the child’s education and well-being.

· Monitor and record the child's progress, adjusting support strategies as necessary.

· Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment.

· Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to assess and address student needs

Behavior Support Assistant Requirements:

· Experience working with children or young people with special educational needs, particularly those with behavioral challenges.

· Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies.

· Ability to support personal care needs.

· Positive, patient, and proactive attitude.

· Enhanced DBS on the update service is mandatory.

· Knowledge of behavior management strategies and interventions specific to SEN settings.
