I am recruiting on behalf of my client who are known for manufacturing luxury-handcrafted motorcycles. They are looking for Lead Chassis Engineer to join their expanding team on a Permanent basis.
As a Lead Chassis Engineer your main responsibilities are:
The role of the Senior will be to support the design and development of a number of significant components and systems related to chassis systems and components on a range of new the Clients' Motorbikes
Responsibility for supporting reviewing and approving concept and production-level design, both internally and externally.
Qualifications / Skills Required:
5+ years automotive design engineering background (Ideally motorcycle)
Leading the design and development of quality components and systems for new class-leading motorcycles.
An understanding of motorcycle chassis design and its interaction with powertrain and electronics.
Successfully communicating and working with key internal departments and external service providers and suppliers to ensure quality design and feasibility.
CREO experience is preferred but not essential
Ensuring application of relevant industry standards and benchmark learning.
Develop commodity delivery plans, and drive delivery to plan.
Approving concept and detail CAD designs and drawings.
