Are you an experienced SEMH Teacher looking for a new role in Brent?

Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Teacher to join this supportive primary PRU as a SEMH teacher. This is a full time, long-term role starting in October 2024 for the full academic year.

The School:

The school supports children from Brent Secondary schools with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs who have been permanently excluded or allocated a place through SEN consultation or via the Securing Education Board on a short-term placement.

A high number of pupils here also have an additional diagnosis of autism and/or ADHD. Class sizes are therefore smaller with up to six pupils per class and there is a high staff-to-pupil ratio so that children are given the correct support when needed across the school day.

To join us and be successful in this role you will need:

Full QTS
Previous experience working with children with SEMH
Strong behaviour management skills
An Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
Legal right to work in the UK
