Role Overview:
As a Learning Support Assistant in Lewisham, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the educational and personal development of children with additional SEN. Working alongside our experienced staff, you will create a nurturing and inclusive atmosphere, helping our students to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with a range of SEN, including autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and emotional/behavioural difficulties.
Foster a positive and supportive classroom environment that encourages engagement and learning.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to each child's development.
Utilize effective behaviour management techniques to support students' emotional and social well-being.
Qualifications and Skills:

Relevant qualification or experience in SEN education or support.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt to different learning styles.
Organizational abilities to assist in lesson planning and execution.
Commitment to inclusivity, diversity, and equality in education.
Dedication to maintaining a safe and supportive environment for all students.
