Groomfield recruitment recruiting for our client in the Solihull area. You must have your own transport for this position.
Purpose of this job role; as a driving co-ordinator you will be liaising with drivers to ensure their route is planned and on time for the customer as well as this you will be speaking with customers to handle any complaints and queries.
Responsibilities;
* Book work to the drivers throughout the day
* To be aware of clients requirements when allocating drivers
* To be aware of individual drivers skills and abilities
* Search for extra drivers who are available
* Co-ordinate breakdowns
* Liaise with recruitment to ensure driver coverage is at optimum levels and to discuss recruitment requirements
* Inform customer care of any problems or delays
* Ensure Customer Care department are informed of any problems, delays or failures
* Liaise with administration department to resolve driver paperwork queries
* Provide out of hour’s emergency cover on a rota basis
* Provide meetings with drivers on a regular basis
* Deal with complaints from drivers
* Ensure all work on the system is planned and allocated
* Such other duties as may reasonably be requested
Salary; £12.08 per hour
Hours; 8:00am - 5.30pm - Monday - Friday

This will initially be a temporary position, however it does have the possible opportunities of becoming permanent.

To be successful for this role you will need to have previous office experience and be comfortable speaking on the telephone. This is an extremely fast paced working environment.
