A rewarding role awaits in a small school in the south shore area of Blackpool, for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant (Must have experience SEN or SEMH), offering a competitive weekly pay of £300 - £400. The ideal candidate will possess a genuine passion for education and a compassionate approach to supporting students with diverse needs. Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant is essential, however what truly matters is a proactive attitude, patience, and the ability to build strong, positive relationships with students and staff alike.

The pupil’s needs range from SEN, ADHD, autism and social economical and mental health issues, therefore the right candidate would need to be experienced, resilient and be physically able to deal with potential violent outbursts.

Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting in the planning and delivery of personalised learning activities.
- Providing one-on-one support to students, helping them to overcome barriers to learning.
- Monitoring and recording student progress, and reporting this to the teaching staff.
- Supporting the classroom environment to ensure it is conducive to learning.

Essential skills and experience:
- Experience working with children with special educational needs is essential ( SEN, SEMH)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, resilience, and a nurturing disposition.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
