SENDhelp is currently looking for Student Support Assistant to work at one of our partner schools in St Albans. Our partner school is college that specialises in working with children who have Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties.
Your new college is special school which provides staff expertise and skills to transform young people into well rounded, emotionally resilient, and well - educated young adults.

As our new student support assistant, you will be working in a school that offers state of the art specialist workshops and design studios, a large indoor multi-sports hall, gym, and virtual learning environment.
Job Role
Student Support Assistant's role is to support a pupil on 1:1 or 2:1 with daily activities and encourage independent and to help students reach their full potential.
As Student Support Assistant, you be supporting the students in life skills as well as supporting them core subject education.
The school are looking to meet with Student Support assistants who have a passion for and have experience in supporting SEMH (Social, Emotional, Mental Health) needs and challenging behaviour. Through SENDhelp, you will have access to:
A dedicated consultant who will mentor you throughout your placement and be available to answer any questions you may have.
