TimePlan Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate PSHE Teacher / Cover for a full-time position at a community special school in Aylesbury. This role caters to students aged 11 to 18, with a focus on promoting students' health, well-being, and personal development.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging PSHE lessons covering:
Physical and Mental Health and Well-being
Friendships and Relationships
Keeping Safe
First Aid
Relationships and Sex Education
Drug and Alcohol Education
Living in the Wider World
Take on Form Tutor responsibilities.
Small Animal Care Course: Deliver this course 3 afternoons per week, focusing on educating students about small animals, recognising and learning about small animals, safety when working with animals, how to interact with all kinds of small animals, and career opportunities in animal care. Full support provided.Ideal Candidate:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) OR HLTA qualification OR previous teaching experience.
Previous experience teaching PSHE and working with SEN students is advantageous.
Passionate about helping students grow in both their personal and academic lives.
