Location: Sunderland
Salary: £125 - £155 per day

Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Early Career Teacher (Primary) looking to make a real difference in a supportive school environment?

GSL Education are currently looking for a motivated Early Career Teacher to join a fantastic primary school in Sunderland. This is a fantastic opportunity to start your teaching journey in Sunderland, where your skills and passion will help shape the future of young learners.

As an Early Career Teacher, you will have the chance to work with a friendly and collaborative team, teaching students across Key Stages 1 and 2. You'll receive the support needed to develop your career in an inclusive school that encourages creativity and innovation in the classroom.

Responsibilities As an Early Career Teacher (Primary):

Deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the primary curriculum.
Support the academic and personal development of students.
Work collaboratively with teaching staff to ensure the highest standards of education.
Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Participate in staff meetings and ongoing training as required.
To be a successful Early Career Teacher (Primary), you need:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards it.
Passion for teaching and a strong desire to inspire young learners.
Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Have an updated CV (covering last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection and that successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks, including an enhanced DBS on the update service.
