They are seeking a highly skilled Woodworking AutoCAD Engineer to join their team. You will collaborate closely with project managers, production teams, and clients to ensure that all designs meet project specifications, manufacturing standards, and aesthetic goals. Your expertise in AutoCAD, woodworking techniques, and material properties will be crucial to transforming design concepts into high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities:
Create Detailed Shop Drawings & Cut-Bills
Collaborate on Design Concepts
Material Selection and Application
Ensure Manufacturing Precision
Quality Assurance
Optimize Designs for Efficiency
Support Installation Teams
Update and Maintain Design Files
Compliance with Codes and Standards
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Design, or related field (or relevant experience).
Experience:
Proven experience as an AutoCAD Engineer, preferably in woodworking, cabinetry, or millwork industries.
Skills:
Proficient in AutoCAD and other CAD software (e.g., SketchUp).
Ability to read, interpret, and create technical drawings and blueprints.
Strong knowledge of woodworking machinery, tools, and production processes.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills to work effectively with clients, designers, and production teams.
