Platform Engineer - Atlassian Administration | Long-Term Project | Financial Enterprise
We are seeking experienced Platform Engineers with expertise in Atlassian administration, particularly with experience migrating from on-premise to SaaS-based Atlassian solutions.
The ideal candidate thrives on solving complex challenges, enjoys working with customers to help them achieve their goals, and is committed to delivering compliant, reliable, and scalable global solutions. You will play a critical role in ensuring the environments meet business demands and performance standards.
Our Private Cloud Platform serves as the strategic foundation for containerization, automation, secure application development, and CI/CD pipelines. It also provides developer tools to support the Clearing business' modern ways of working. We specialize in a range of cutting-edge technologies including OpenShift, Ansible, Atlassian suite, Jenkins, Nexus, SonarQube, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and support Atlassian tools (Confluence, BitBucket, Jira)
- Lead the migration of Atlassian tools from on-premise environments to SaaS solutions
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and configuration management tools
- Integrate security best practices into platform processes, ensuring compliance with bank policies and regulatory standards
- Provide expert guidance to stakeholders, offering insights into technology usage and best practices for business solutions
- Act as the main point of contact for third-party support, managing escalations and ensuring resolution
- Collaborate with global teams to resolve issues efficiently
- Participate in high availability and disaster recovery testing
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in Atlassian toolset administration
- Proven experience in migrating Atlassian products to cloud-based (SaaS) environments
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies, DevOps practices, and ITIL processes
- Excellent communication skills, able to work effectively within a globally distributed team
- Results-driven and motivated to make an impact
- Strong adaptability and a willingness to learn
