Known for their exceptional dining experiences and commitment to showcasing locally sourced ingredients, this charming establishment offers guests memorable meals in a picturesque countryside setting.

Our client has recently completed an extensive refurbishment and extended their dining hours. They are now looking to expand their team and are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join their dynamic kitchen staff. This is an excellent opportunity for a culinary professional who thrives in a creative environment and is eager to contribute to the continued success of a popular restaurant.

Position Overview:

As Chef de Partie, you will be a key player in the kitchen, working closely with the Head Chef to deliver high-quality dishes that consistently exceed guests' expectations. The role involves managing various sections of the kitchen, contributing to menu innovation, and ensuring efficient and effective food preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

* Collaborate with the Head Chef and kitchen team to prepare food to the highest standards.

* Execute tasks across all sections of the kitchen, including bread making, vegetable prep, meat butchering, and cooking dishes according to established recipes.

* Contribute fresh ideas and creative input to the development of seasonal menus.

* Maintain cleanliness and organization in all kitchen and storage areas, ensuring food safety standards are upheld.

* Assist with inventory management, stock rotation, and ordering to optimize kitchen operations and reduce waste.

* Flexibility to take on additional duties as required by the Head Chef, showcasing adaptability and a team-oriented mindset.

Qualifications:

* Proven experience in a fast-paced kitchen, ideally within an upscale dining environment.

* Proficiency in a range of cooking techniques, with a solid understanding of culinary fundamentals.

* Strong teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills.

* Commitment to maintaining high standards in food quality, presentation, and consistency.

* Knowledge of food safety regulations and a dedication to health and safety practices.

* A passion for culinary arts and creativity, with a keen interest in experimenting with new ingredients and techniques.

* Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Hours:

* 42 hours per week.
