Job Description

As a Senior Line Operative, you will play a vital role in our production process, working efficiently to produce products in line with specifications while maintaining quality, safety, and compliance standards. You will work as part of a dedicated team, supporting the achievement of production goals and escalating any issues as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Efficiency: Organize a line team to deliver agreed output levels and quality standards, ensuring products are produced according to specifications. Exercising personal responsibility and discretion in organising their work.

*

Team Collaboration: Conduct morning meetings with team members, set up standard operating procedures on the line and support the production team.

*

Compliance and Safety: Adhere to all line Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols, maintaining a culture of safety within the team. Report any defects or potential defects in equipment promptly.

*

Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records as required, documenting production activities and any deviations from standard procedures.

*

Continuous Improvement: Highlight opportunities for process improvement and escalate any issues to the appropriate channels for resolution. Work towards improving Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) for the team.

Qualifications

Initiative: Ability to use your own initiative and actively participate in achieving team objectives.

Can-Do Attitude: Approach work with a positive attitude and a willingness to take on challenges.

*

Teamwork: Strong ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, contributing to the achievement of team targets.

Additional information

Shifts: Monday-Friday (7:30am-15:30pm)

Salary: £27,195.48 per annum
