Teaching Assistant - Full Time, Islington Primary School

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our welcoming primary school in Islington. This is a full-time position from Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:45pm, offering an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys supporting children's learning and development.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide targeted support to students in Maths and English, including leading group interventions to boost their skills and confidence.
Assist in the delivery of phonics sessions, supporting the development of early reading and writing.
Collaborate with class teachers to plan and deliver engaging lessons, providing both 1:1 and group support to students with varying abilities.
Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment, encouraging all children to reach their full potential.Requirements:

A Level 2 or 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent).
Experience in delivering group interventions, especially in Maths and English.
Strong understanding of phonics and early literacy development.
