A leader in the provision of fire protection services is looking for experienced fire door installers/engineers to join their team. You will be working on social housing programmes, carrying out renewals/installations, upgrades and maintenance works too existing doors and frames. The works will be based across the South London and wider Southeast England area, covering from Croydon down towards Crawley and Brighton along the M23 corridor on behalf of large housing associations in the region.

Roles and responsibilities

* Installing and carrying out remedial works to new and existing fire doors

* Complete works in line with the manufacture’s specification

* Document works on a step-by-step basis, ensuring evidence is taken accurately

* Problem solving and being able to overcome unforeseen issues with the work

* Liaise with customers and members of the general public

The successful candidate will have:

* At least two years experience working with fire doors

* A strong background in carpentry and joinery

* NVQ or equivalent in carpentry

* Experience installing fire doors and frames

* Experience upgrading and remediating existing doors and frames

* Experience working on social housing FRA contracts

* Full UK driving license

* 3rd party registration under the FIRAS scheme (desired)
