My client is a leading property services company based in the heart of central London. They are a multi disciplinary company, covering a range of disciplines in the industry.
Their clients are at the forefront of what they do, and specialise in building maintenance within commercial and residential properties in London.
They are seeking a Domestic Gas Engineer and Plumber to join their team in London, working on their flagship contract, This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with previous experience in the building maintenance industry and a varied knowledge of carrying out maintenance duties in a commercial or residential environment.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
Installation and Maintenance:
* Install, service, and repair domestic gas appliances such as boilers, cookers, and heaters
* Conduct routine maintenance checks and ensure all gas appliances are functioning efficiently and safely.
Plumbing Installation and Repairs:
* Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and fittings.
* Address issues such as leaks, blockages, and water pressure problems.
Safety Inspections:
* Perform safety inspections and issue gas safety certificates.
* Identify and rectify any potential safety hazards in gas and plumbing systems.
Troubleshooting and Repairs:
* Diagnose faults in gas appliances and plumbing systems.
* Carry out necessary repairs and replacements to ensure optimal performance.
Customer Service:
* Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and queries.
* Offer advice on energy efficiency, appliance care, and plumbing maintenance.
Compliance and Documentation:
* Ensure all work complies with current gas safety regulations and plumbing standards.
* Maintain accurate records of all work carried out, including safety certificates and service reports using our mobile apps.
Emergency Response:
* Respond to emergency call-outs and provide timely and effective solutions to gas and plumbing-related issues.
Experience and qualifications required:
* A hardworking, reliable work ethic, flexible as overtime & OOH works may be required depending on client or job requirements.
* Previous experience in maintenance and building environments, ideally within commercial or residential sectors.
* A HSE understanding
* Previous use of handheld technology / smartphone
* Take pride in doing everything you do to the highest standard
* A good communicator, who understands the importance of customer service.
* City and Guilds qualifications or equivalent
Required:
* Minimum 5 years of experience in the building industry
* Minimum 3 Years of Plumbing Experience
* Domestic Gas Qualifications

Working Hours:
8:30 – 17:30
Monday to Friday
