About the role of a Science Teacher - Ealing

Ensure that all students assigned to the post holder receive quality instruction and learning opportunities.
Supervise the work of any support staff assigned to the post holder's students, including teaching assistants and support teachers.
Provide support to the department head.
Preparation of teaching and learning materials
Managing their classroom's health and safety and behaviour
Keeping an eye on quality and standards, and reporting on them
Taking part in departmental planning and self-evaluation
Supporting other teachers and support staff with professional development
Providing advice to the Head of Department on appropriate resources and materials
Contributing to and leading science events for students at the school and in the wider community
