SCOPE OF POSITION:

As a Commercial HVAC Instructor at Oklahoma Chiller, you will be pivotal in shaping the skill set and expertise of professionals in the Commercial HVAC sector. Your role will encompass developing and delivering specialized training programs tailored to enhance the capabilities of HVAC technicians, ensuring they meet Oklahoma Chiller standards and excel in their roles.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop Curriculum: Craft comprehensive training materials, modules, and curriculum focused on commercial HVAC systems, emphasizing installation techniques, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting methods.

Deliver Training: Lead engaging training sessions, workshops, and seminars, both in-person and virtually, providing in-depth instruction on system operation, repair, and safety protocols.

Technical Training: Deliver hands-on demonstrations and technical guidance on commercial HVAC equipment, emphasizing proper installation practices and advanced troubleshooting techniques.

Safety Instruction: Incorporate safety protocols and best practices into training programs to promote a culture of workplace safety among HVAC technicians.

Assess Skills: Evaluate participants' knowledge and competencies through assessments and practical demonstrations, identifying areas for improvement and development.

Continuously Improve: Stay abreast of industry advancements and emerging technologies in commercial HVAC systems to enhance training programs and ensure their relevance.

WHAT WILL PUT YOU AHEAD:

AAS in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Technology or a related field.

Extensive hands-on experience in the commercial HVAC industry, including installation, maintenance, and repair.

Demonstrated experience in designing and delivering technical training programs, preferably in the commercial HVAC sector.

Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly and effectively.

Proficiency in instructional design, training delivery techniques, and learning principles.

Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms is advantageous.

Commitment to upholding Oklahoma Chiller’s standard of excellence.
