Our Dental office is looking for a full-time Dental Patient Coordinator to join their team. As a Dental Patient Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the dental office by managing patient schedules, handling administrative tasks, and providing exceptional customer service to patients.
Responsibilities:
Manage patient schedules and ensure the dental office stays on schedule
Greet and check-in patients, collect necessary information, and update patient records
Answer phone calls, address patient inquiries, and schedule appointments
Verify insurance coverage and process insurance claims
Collect payments and provide financial and insurance information to patients
Maintain office supplies and order new supplies when needed
Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and record keeping
Requirements:
Prior experience working in a dental office or healthcare setting is preferred
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Proficiency in dental software and Microsoft Office Suite
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle time-sensitive tasks
High school diploma or equivalent
