Job Description
The Plant EHS Manager will:
Plan, promote, and follow-up on all phases of the plant safety program and drive the safety culture.
Create and develop new methods and strategies to help engage employees in safety culture.
Maintain accurate and complete records that meet regulatory requirements, including but not limited to:Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA)
Department of Transportation (DOT)
Clean Air Act (CAA)
Clean Water Act (CWA)
Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA)
Superfund Amendments and Reauthorization Act (SARA)
All applicable local and state regulatory requirements
Anticipate, identify and evaluate hazardous conditions and practices through work site knowledge, employee interactions, and work site inspection, and control exposures to occupational health hazards.
Conduct mandated employee health and safety training programs.
Participate in state and federal OSHA inspections.
Act as the site contact for Worker’s Compensation issues.
Conduct applicable facility environmental training including: Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP), Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasure Plan (SPCC).

High energy with the ability to motivate people and drive the safety culture.
Experience developing and delivering training.
A collaborative approach to leadership and a willingness to actively participate on the floor.
