Our client is seeking a dynamic and driven Internal Communications Manager to help shape and deliver their internal communications strategy. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to an inclusive and collaborative work environment where effective communication plays a pivotal role in connecting employees and driving organisational success. This is a 12 month maternity cover contract to start in November, a hybrid role requiring 2 days a week in the Central Swindon office.
In the role of Internal Communications Manager, you’ll be responsible for:
* Working closely with the Head of HR to drive the development and execution of an internal communication strategy to communicate purpose, values, and business priorities effectively.
* Working with stakeholders to implement communication plans and initiatives, enhancing organisation-wide understanding of ongoing projects.
* Managing the internal communications request process, ensuring timely and engaging content creation for various internal channels.
* Supporting crisis communications as well as virtual and in-person events, fostering a connected and informed workplace.
* Encouraging employee engagement by integrating feedback into communications strategy and supporting Employee Voice activities.
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:
* Proven experience in developing and implementing internal communication strategies.
* Strong content writing skills, with a track record of using diverse communications techniques.
* Experience working within complex strategic and change programmes.
* Excellent presentation skills, both verbal and visual, tailored to audience needs.
* The ability to think strategically and influence cross-organisational communication.

As the Internal Communications Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring consistent and effective communication across all levels of the organisation. You will be instrumental in aligning communication strategies with business objectives, driving engagement, and supporting the organisation's mission.
