Overview:
Join Flatiron's newest project in Seattle's historic Ballard Neighberhood! The Document Control Specialist handles the processing and/or reproduction of construction documents to insure accuracy and timely release for a large sized project.
What you will be doing:
Completes and processes all incoming and outgoing documents in the document control database, including electronic logging, scanning, distribution and storage needs.
Maintains and distributes daily Project Read Files.
Files and stores physical documents, including paper, manuals, books, photos, videos, and digital media in the project files.
Establishes and maintains a listing of all materials stored in the Project Library.
Maintains project File Index, files and library.
Monitors Primavera program for compliance to procedures and requirements of the project and the company.
Maintains signature authority matrix.
Assists with internal audits and inspections to ensure department work is performed accurately, efficiently and with cost control.
Maintains knowledge of Company’s values and strategic plan.
Support published corporate policies.
Perform additional assignments per management’s direction.
What we are looking for:
Associate’s degree preferred.
3+ years’ experience in a related field required.
Proven experience with ProCore, Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint and Primavera Contract Manager
Able to read and write correspondence.
Multi-tasking and organizational skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Able to work in a team environment.
