Responsibilities & Qualifications:
Due to exponential growth, we are seeking a Route Specialist to join our exceptional Oklahoma City Service Team! This is a route-based, service-oriented, driving position. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of route driving experience (24' box truck or larger), a service background in the hospitality, food/beverage, and/or healthcare industry, and is eager to advance professionally. As Route Specialist, you will be a "face" of ImageFIRST, supporting our Customer Advocates in establishing, maintaining, and building strong customer relationships through responsive and creative sales/service strategies.
PAY: Terrific hourly rate (plus overtime) with a sign-on bonus
SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday; work hours can vary from as early at 4am and as late as 6pm
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Supporting and promoting our values and the ImageFIRST way to build the company by positively impacting the lives of our associates, customers and community.
Loading and unloading truck and truck organization.
Managing customer inventory
Developing and maintaining product knowledge: pricing, codes, colors, sizing, changes/quantities, availability, and product application
Managing paperwork: work order preparation/follow-up and invoice accuracy
Providing route relief to cover Customer Advocate vacations and call offs (flexibility)
Providing additional route support as needed (reroutes, additional volume, etc…)
Making special deliveries to customers
Lead generation
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
At least 1 year of route driving experience (24' box truck or larger)
Current Valid State Driver's License
DOT Certification and/or the ability to pass a DOT Physical/Drug Screen
Ability to pass a criminal background check
Clean MVR
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Ability to lift 50+ pounds plus and push/pull carts of linen (up to 800#)
Ability to use computers and related technology efficiently
Excellent oral, written, phone, and face-to-face communication skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience with delivery, logistics, and/or route experience in hospitality and/or healthcare industry
One year experience in account management and customer satisfaction
Knowledge and practical insight specific to the textile services industry and operations
Experience in customer inventory management
