Overview:

Utilizing advanced leadership and independent decision-making skills, analyzes complex sales needs specific to the business unit(s) supported by this role. Works with key stakeholders to identify, document, and strategize these issues, and propose solutions. Provides research, analysis, data, coordination, problem-solving, development, and testing related to initiatives put forth.

Responsibilities:

Independently represents the sales organization on project teams to help elicit, define, analyze, communicate, and validate requirements for changes to existing business processes, policies, technology, and information systems. Demonstrates good judgment in providing recommendations to stakeholders regarding effective and efficient approaches to achieve project objectives.

Creates and assesses key indicators, departmental metrics, and project requirements to proactively identify risks/opportunities and communicates to sales leadership and project teams.

Identifies opportunities for process improvement. Takes action on these opportunities and provide recommendations to leadership where appropriate. Analyzes and maps current processes and potential future state to improve operating efficiencies.

Develops, rolls out, and reinforces the usage of dashboards and reporting for better management of activity, pipeline, and client experience.

Serves as Subject Matter Expert for the team and provides technical and professional mentorship to less senior Analysts in the department. Leads the team in collaboration and completion of projects and initiatives, providing oversight throughout the engagement and guidance to task completion.

Leads change in the sales organization by acting as the subject matter expert for consultation on systems, technical issues, product questions, etc. Provides training and creates documentation in these areas to support the sales organization.

Provides advanced technical expertise and support to assist with resolution of escalated field issues.

Develops and evaluates sales processes, procedures, and policies and communicates with team to ensure nationwide alignment. Implements improvements or changes to provide the best solution for the organization.

Keeps up-to-date with and communicates where applicable external factors (e.g. legislation) impacting the sales organization.

Researches, provides, formats, and analyzes data. Observes and analyzes patterns, trends, and correlations to make recommendations on company strategic issues and projects. Applies a wide application of theoretical concepts, principles, and practices to the analytical process.

Evaluates and implements the adaptation of policies, procedures, standards, techniques, etc. to provide the best solution and gain overall operating efficiencies.

Other duties as assigned to support the general purpose of the position’s function.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree - Preferred

5 years of experience in related field.

Compensation:

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share that the starting base pay range for this position is $51,500.00 to $78,650.00 annually plus bonuses. Please keep in mind that this range is the base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position. If you are hired at Paychex, your overall compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
