Overview:

The Slot Attendant is responsible for providing the highest levels of guest service and support which are essential to continuous slot play. Ensures compliance with Tribal Gaming regulations and casino policies.

Responsibilities:

Greets casino guests using “Guest Service” focus initiatives.

Executes friendly, fast, and flawless slot service to casino guests.

Works closely with all casino floor personnel, particularly casino cashiers, casino hosts, players club, beverage service, security staff and slot support technicians.

Assists players in clearing jams and malfunctions in bill feeders, ticket printers, black outs, and other situations.

Responsible for breaking bills on the casino floor, paying slot jackpots, and working with an impressed bankroll.

Explains to casino patrons all the rules of play, pay and payouts of all regular and progressive machines, all casino policies, and procedures regarding gaming activities, including tournaments and special promotions.

Reports any other problems in the machines or progressive systems to a supervisor.

Maintains monetary and paperwork accuracy within department standards.

Summons a technician to correct or repair more complex malfunctions or to remove a malfunctioning machine from service.

Maintains awareness of possible slot cheating and/or suspicious activities; reports suspicious activities to appropriate personnel.

Summons a supervisor to clear certain jackpots or resolve casino guest disputes.

Upholds a work environment that promotes teamwork, partnership, recognition, mutual respect, and collaboration, while role modeling the company values, behaviors, and culture of One.Team.Chumash.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED Certificate.

Proficient in the use of “machine keys”.

Basic computer proficiency utilizing Microsoft applications, e-mail, and Internet.

Willingness to work flexible schedules in a 24/7 work environment, including holidays, nights, and weekends.

Must apply for, receive, and maintain a Gaming License from the Tribal Gaming Agency.

Native American hiring preference applies.
