Position Summary:

The pharmacy business analyst/340b compliance specialist will:

Assist all FirstHealth covered entities with 340b utilization and compliance-related issues.

Serve as a subject matter expert, ensuring the 340B program records are complete, accurate, and auditable.

Be responsible for the compliance in medication procurement, billing, and inventory management to ensure standards are being met and cost savings returns are being realized.

Responsibilities:

-Assist Pharmacy leadership in maintaining the integrity of the Pharmacy 340B program to ensure compliance with the 340B program requirements, including qualifications and processes.

-Regular self-audits and other compliance related initiatives.

-Review system logic and configuration settings for third party administrator systems to ensure compliance of claims qualification.

-Demonstrate understanding of and ability to articulate 340B Program requirements and best practices.

-Ability to critically think across various systems, departments, and processes to properly troubleshoot an issue and see it through to resolution.

-Maintains and always protects the right to privacy of all patients and hospital employees as evidenced by the securing of confidential records and release of information to authorized persons only.

-Completes assigned work and other tasks assigned within scheduled time.

Qualifications:

Required

Associates degree in business related areas or equivalent experience.

Preferred

Bachelor’s degree in business related area.

Experience in supply change management and/or 340b knowledge.
