The academic programs that the Sue & Bill Gross School of Nursing offers include a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Science, a Master of Science in Nursing Science, a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Nursing Science.

Responsibilities:

The Sue & Bill Gross School of Nursing is seeking a talented and motivated individual with experience in project management, including coordinating and running weekly meetings, providing status updates, and managing operations and administrative activities with a high degree of autonomy for this contracted position. The incumbent provides high-level analytical and administrative support for strategic initiatives, including the operations, development, and implementation of clinical and academic degree programs.

The successful candidate will possess excellent writing and communication skills, experience in preparing business plans and proposals, and strong analytical skills for preparing complex budgets. Should be adept at gathering program data and information from a wide range of campus and community partners and have the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously. Knowledge of the nursing profession is a plus.

The incumbent will use their skills as a seasoned, experienced professional with a comprehensive understanding of analytical practices, policies, and procedures. Incumbent will research, analyze, and develop solutions to a wide range of issues, demonstrating good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. This role primarily deals with policies, programs, and proposals that are complex in nature and diverse in scope and involves developing new programs, policies, or procedures for possible implementation.

Qualifications:

Required:

Knowledge of common organization or program-specific and other computer application programs.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

Strong experience writing complex documents and proposals.

Ability to use discretion and maintain all confidentiality.

Analytical / problem-solving skills.

Strong skills in analyzing, researching and synthesizing large amounts of data for preparing sound and relevant proposals / analyses.

Ability to multi-task with demanding timeframes.

Strong project management skills.

Strong financial and budget experience.

Bachelor's degree in Business/Healthcare administration or related area and / or equivalent experience / training.

1-3 Years of Experience with Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Healthcare administration or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred:

Experience or knowledge of nursing profession and/or academic programs

Experience developing proposals (academic or research)
