Summary:

The Patient Intake Coordinator is responsible for building rapport and establishing connections with prospective clients and referral sources. The Intake Coordinator assists prospective clients with any questions as well as guides them through the various offerings at Verbal Beginnings to determine the best fit. Working collaboratively within the intake department as well as field and center operations departments, the Intake Coordinator represents the organization with excellent customer service and is responsible for maintaining organized and detailed records of interactions with leads.

Responsibilities:

As an Intake Coordinator, you will:

Call on and answer new and existing client bases to meet the goals of targeted regions and programs (approx. 50-75 calls per day).

Assist potential clients with the enrollment/intake process.

Screen clients for entry into respective programs.

Work with, builds rapport, and maintains/nurtures relationships with referral sources. 

Keep detailed recording of all leads and communications in Salesforce.

Go on sales calls/meetings with referral sources to present updated information about Verbal Beginnings openings and availability.

Track performance data on calling outcomes as it relates to goals.

Work collaboratively with field operations and center operations to assist in meeting their departmental goals.

Understand the basics of Applied Behavior Analysis therapy, how it works, how it's implemented throughout all programs at Verbal Beginnings.

Maintain a relevant understanding of state regulations associated with insurance coverage of ABA services for children diagnosed with ASD across all states that VB serves.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

About You:

High school diploma required. Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred (can be in-progress).

1+ year experience in a high phone volume role

Minimum of one-year customer service or related experience. 

Proficiency in Google or Microsoft Office Suite

Experience with Salesforce or Central Reach preferred

Existing knowledge in the field of autism education or Applied Behavior Analysis preferred
