Basic Qualifications :

Candidates should demonstrate a thorough understanding of engineering technology.  Engineering Interns must be enrolled in an accredited degree program in Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or other related scientific or technical discipline with a preference for a standing of a sophomore or higher.  

Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities for this Position:

REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES AND TASKS:

Apply your classroom-learned skills to supporting the defense of our country. GDMS has a summer opening for an Engineering Intern to join our team. The position provides an opportunity to work with our Xpedition EDM tools to create symbols and cells for our programs. The goal is to support program development while learning the. GDMS employees work closely with esach other to develop solutions for our programs that allow them to carry out high-stakes national security missions.

The selected candidate will work with a collaborative team on various technical parts associated with our program designs. This also provides early insight and hands on use of our PCB design tools so the candidate can gain a deeper understanding of the early HW development process regarding ECAD models for schematic and layout entry. Their main task is to build library parts (symbols and cells) for engineers who will use those elemnts intheir board designs.

In addition to receiving a competitive wage, the Engineering Intern will enhance their skill set by working among a talented and technically accomplished group of colleagues. Interns will also enjoy a flexible work environment where contributions are recognized and rewarded.

Salary Note:

This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.

Combined Salary Range:

USD $26.00 - USD $26.00 /Yr.
