Overview:

Invisalign Program Director  

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven individual to support and grow our Invisalign service line, which generates $180MM annually and handles approximately 40,000 cases per year. This newly created role will focus on expanding the business by increasing case volume through onboarding new providers and driving growth within our existing provider network. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development, relationship management, and strategic planning, with the ability to make a significant impact on this critical and growing part of our business.

To give you an idea of the team structure, you will work on a team with a Program Manager and report to the Senior VP of Clinical Operations, and partner with many leaders across various departments at Heartland Dental.

Responsibilities:

Below is an overview of the duties and responsibilities you would take on in this role: 

Collaborate with senior executives to define and refine long-term growth strategies, discussing market opportunities, competitive positioning, and resource allocation to ensure that the organization’s growth plans are robust and achievable 

Create materials that communicate results and strategies to Senior Leadership Team and Board 

Lead and coordinate cross functional workgroups to ensure alignment on project goals, objectives, and deliverables. Provide direction, mediate conflicts, and keep the group focused on achieving common objectives.  

Regularly update stakeholders on performance metrics and KPIs, analyze trends, and drive data-informed decision-making 

Partner with leadership of regional scanner trainer to keep a pulse on the scan volume and efficiency with scanning through the organization. 

Track progress of multiple workstreams, ensuring clear next steps, deadlines, and accountability for all involved. 

Marketing: Work with the marketing team to align strategies, campaigns, and messaging that support organizational objectives.  

Ops (Operations): Collaborate with operations to streamline processes, ensure operational efficiency, and implement best practices. (including IRDM connection) 

Education: Partner with the education team and the clinical directors to develop and deliver training programs focused on consistent clinical exams (occlusal disease) and materials that support staff development and patient education.  

Strategic Sourcing: Coordinate with strategic sourcing to optimize procurement, manage vendor relationships  

Financing: work with marketing and finance teams to align on financing options and promotions to have high utilization and adoption 

Hold cross-functional teams accountable for meeting deliverables, addressing challenges, and maintaining focus on key objectives. 

Collaborate with colleagues from the Align team to gain insights into their ongoing projects and initiatives. Understand their goals, challenges, and progress to better align your efforts and foster collaboration.  

Partner with field operations teams to implement both Business as Usual processes and new initiatives, ensuring smooth execution by coordinating resources, setting timelines, and addressing any operational challenges with doctor and hygiene teams.   

Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all procedures, ensuring consistency, and providing a reference for future audits or process improvements.  

Stay informed about external market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive dynamics to adjust strategies and identify growth opportunities 

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements: 

3+ Years of operational experience in managing day-to-day activities, processes, and workflows for efficiency. 

Proven ability to motivate teams, foster a positive work environment, and align them toward common goals. 

Strategic mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. 

Experience effectively collaborating cross-functionally to execute a strategy. 

An entrepreneurial mindset to seek out and develop new ways of growing the business. 

Ability to travel multiple times per month on short notice (~30% travel) 

 Desirable Qualifications: 

Dental industry experience 

Experience coaching and guiding others on clear aligner adoption and dental practice integration. 

Familiarity with Heartland’s systems, culture, and processes (preferred). 

Knowledge of Invisalign product 

Experience working with and executing complex strategies  

Physical Requirements: 

Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties of the position  

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer  

Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
