Drive and lead
Leverage results from processes, policies and procedures such as: ProCheck Process (ProStart, ProCheck, ProFinish), Quality In Construction (QIC), Client Satisfaction Surveys, Lessons Learned, Procore, Project Financial Forecasting, Strategic Planning, and Accountability to identify individual and business needs
Develop and implement Quality Improvement Action Plans & Programs and other initiatives designed to facilitate execution, leadership and management efforts, goals and objectives, which support Gilbane’s Mission, Vision, Values and brand
Provide direct supervision to Business Unit and Divisional OpEx Managers, Managers of Engineering, and Learning Coordinators and support in the execution of job duties and responsibilities
Include Business Unit and Divisional Business Consultants in all Operational Excellence planning, execution and coordination activities
Drive Kickoff Meetings and Lessons Learned preparation and meetings to help project team elicit value
Can develop and implement process improvements with project teams (examples may include improving principals’ meetings, or helping staff find more efficient methods, or run Lean improvement session)
Ensure compliance with key customer, quality, risk mitigation, training, operations policies and processes. Ensure all risk management records are complete, compliant and accessible
Serve as a liaison between Corporate and Divisional management, Business Unit Leaders, Senior Project Executives, Department Heads and project teams to ensure alignment between strategy, execution and continuous improvement
Support and coordinate Divisional and Business Unit Peer Groups
Develop and lead the training programs for new and existing employees which support Corporate Learning Requirements and strategy, Region and Business Unit strategies, Customer feedback, and Employee feedback
Qualifications:
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION
BS in Engineering, BA in Organizational Development or related field
10+ Years in the Construction Industry; preferably with a national or global Construction Management Firm
Minimum of 5 years at Gilbane
Or equivalent combination of education and experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Experience with industry recognized Quality Management Systems
Proven ability to facilitate cross-functional teams including internal and external stakeholders
Ability to analyze and report data across multiple platforms (Microstratgey, Sharepoint, Microsoft Excel, etc.)
Experience in corporate training development, execution, planning and coordination
Advanced analytical skills using MicroStrategy and knowledge of creating their own reports and dashboards.
Ability to travel (approx. 40%)
Available for occasional evening work
