Telford – Office based

Permanent

Up to £30,000 Depending on experience + additional benefits

Monday – Friday – 8.30am – 4.30pm with an early finish on a Friday

We are working with an established, growing business based in Telford who are looking to recruit a

Customer Services and Internal Sales Executive to join their team. This is a newly created role in the business where you will be reporting to the Operations Manager and will be working within the Operations department. Our client is looking for someone who will work closely with the Sales Manager and the Warehouse and Transport Coordinator to provide excellent customer service and sales support to help ensure company’s targets and objectives are met. You will take responsibility and pride in the quality of your work, acting in the best interests of your colleagues and the Company at all times. This is an excellent opportunity to join our client in a newly created role which will grow and evolve.

Responsibilities

* Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will also work closely with the Customer Service and Sales Coordinator to provide excellent customer service and sales support to help ensure Company targets and objectives met.

* Target customers with new products and services.

* Take an active interest in reviewing processing and procedures, with getting a balance of efficiency but still maintaining an exemplary level of service.

* Develop and support the quotes process.

* Development of sales and customer services process using current systems.

* Take ownership of internal sales and customer services process.

* Support the growth of new and existing business accounts.

* All staff are encouraged to have a mindset to help other team members, and not have the mindset that it is not their responsibility to do certain tasks.

* To take responsibility and pride in the quality of your work, always acting in the best interests of your colleagues and the Company.

Skills and Experience

* Work well as part of a team and independently to achieve targets set by the management team.

* Have a proactive attitude to build and maintain positive customer relationships.

* Plan own workload and manage time effectively.

* Working with colleagues in US

* Entering sales orders and customer information on to Plex

* Produce order acknowledgements.

* Always maintain confidentiality.

* Show willing to learn new skills and undertake training.

* Carry out your role to the best of your abilities and to ask for help and guidance as needed.

* Carry out general office admin duties

* Attend meetings and taking notes as required

* Provide a prompt response to customer queries received by emails and phone calls

* Carry out any other tasks as may be reasonably be requested by management.

* Follow company health and safety procedures and report any areas for improvement to management. Ensure a high standard of housekeeping in all areas of the building is always maintained.
