Role: -NDT Engineer
Location: -Newcastle- One site only- No field-based travel required
Hours: - Monday to Friday (combination of days, lates and nights- 40-hour week).
Salary: - £17 per hour- annual salary can equate up to £48,500 due to shift uplift.

Russell- Taylor Group have three fantastic NDT opportunities for one of our large clients in the Newcastle region who develop & manufacture subsea equipment. These are unique opportunities for NDT positions as there is no offshore or field-based work involved. You will be based at their customers site in Newcastle and will infrequently visit our client's testing lab in the surrounding area.

Responsibilities
• Carrying out a range of NDT inspections to ensure compliance with statutory and legislative requirements as well as client requirements.
• Interpret and evaluate test results
• Conduct equipment inspections and calibrations.
• Collect, collate and report with sketches the result of the examination.
• Work to international standards ensuring they are continually met.
• Present reports with detailed information and maintain all records.

The Person
• Previous NDT experience is required - for this role they are looking for someone who can hit the ground running.
• PCN Quals are essential, not ASNT.
• A mixture of PCN Level 2 Radiography, Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI), Dye Penetrant Inspection, Visual Inspection or Eddy Current is required.
• Experience with IT systems is required to ensure that you can complete report writing.
• Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces.
